European Infodemiology Initiative

The European Infodemiology Initiative provides technical assistance and capacity building to health authorities and health organizations working to strengthen health information integrity.

Led by the nonprofit PGP, the Initiative works within existing institutions and partnerships. It helps organizations develop, implement, and manage approaches suited to their responsibilities, health priorities, populations, and operating environments.

Trust is an outcome of partnership

The Initiative supports national and regional work across Europe through partnerships with public health authorities, health ministries, healthcare organizations, professional associations, academic institutions, and health news organizations.

The Initiative’s European work includes formal cooperation with the World Health Organization, the European Medicines Agency, EUPHA, as well as partnerships with institutions in multiple European countries.
